Started his career in economic consulting at London Economics in 1995 and joined the new London office of ICF International in 2000. Joined IPA Energy + Water Economics (now known as IPA Advisory ) in 2007 developing and leading the transaction team based in London until the end of 2014 when he relocated full time to Madrid. Joined K4K in March 2015 launching its advisory business. Provides specialist transaction and regulatory support as market and economic advisor for major power developers, power utilities, financiers and fuel suppliers. Since 2001, Kim has supported the successful completion of 71GW and 700MIGD of capacity with a transaction value of more than USD44 billion. Several collaborative relationships including Iberian power market modelling with EKON Strategy Consulting, which is now a brand of K4K.
Mrs. Katia Velasco-Antón, CFA (Partner)
Tutor in advanced financial topics and founder of K4K. Previously worked in the City of London as Head of Global Credit at HSBC Asset Management and Senior Fund Manager at Henderson Global Investors. Qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Financial tutor with 7City Learning (now Fitch Learning) before moving to Spain in 2010 and setting up K4K. Also Director of the Master in International Finance at Madrid's Instituto de Estudios Bursatiles.
